Noisy outdated tourist farm Sep 19, 2013
We booked the tourist farm Hudicevec (Turiicna kmetija Hudicevec) well in advance, because it presented itself very promissing:

"...the farm awaits you in a setting of flowering meadows and green forests at the foot of Mount Nanos... here (the farm) you can take a break from everyday cares escape the bustle of the city and enjoy the company of sheep, horses, cows, donkeys and other domestic animals."

Quite a paradise for small families with children, you should think. Alas the only animals we saw were a few (not reacheable) donkeys. No chicken, rabbit or cow to be seen.

The room we got was very sixties with much wood and tiny bedrooms. The penetrating smell of the sink and toilet made it almost impossible to sleep at one of the bed rooms.

The restaurant is very popular with daily workers from the surrounding region and offers home made, basic local specialties. During lunch it can be very crowded, but there's enough space to park your car and find a table.

Most negative point of the farm is its situation on a stonethrow of the most buzy highway in Slovenia (coast to Ljubljiana). The noise is very loud, even at night.

Not really a relaxing farm break!

I had to take a look at your review. The name makes it sound like they grow tourists. hehe. Sorry it wasn't the best place on the map. :D
