 Perfect Pisco Place for new flavors in Lima Jan 12, 2008
This bar is located upstairs from a nice restaurant "Brujas de Cachiche". Huaringas is one of the most visited bars in Lima. What makes this place so special? Well, they offer a wide selection of drinks made with our National liquor, the Pisco.
You can not only find the classic pisco sour, but also the Maracuya Sour (with passionfruit) this is the one of the house, Brujo Sour (pisco macerated in coca leaves), I just tried one with Granadilla (another peruvian fruit)so good!!! The possibilities keep on growing every day, hehe. But when you drink is a good idea to have something in your stomach. Well, they give you canchita (corn), but have another menu just for food. Their appetizers are really good. A friend and I are always getting the shrimp with aguaymanto. They also have the yucas (similar to potato) and other possibilities. The atmosphere is great! They play nice music, including live electronic jazz, modern instrumental music combined with live music. On Wed. there is live music (starting around 10 or 11pm). It doesn't matter when you go, the place always gets crowded. Although there are tables on the 4 floors, it's hard to find a free place. it was his first night in Lima, so we had to take a pisco at the right place: Huaringas! He was staying in Miraflores, nearby Huaringas. Although it wasn't late, the place was full. We had to wait for a free table - actually we didn't get any table, just sit next to the bar. While we were waiting we had our first… and he did it! - Shawn arrived to Lima :) |

…at the end I decided to go, and I'm so glad I decided for it :)
She's staying at a friend,s place and we 3 met at a nice bar - Huaringas - so she could try her first Pisco Sour. She has been sick the days before, but she was doing great and my cold... hahaha I forgot about it. We had a couple of drinks and then we were ready for party! Romain, her friend… Krish: my 1st TB of the year... and we are so alike!!!!! :) |

Another place that i recommend is Huaringas bar!!!! good drinks there! and is alwaysss busy! is at Miraflores but not close to Kennedy park..but it will be so good if u can go over there! is one of my favorites bars! Some people say that the best pisco sour in the city… LIMA CITY!! |

lately, showing them around Lima
and having fun no matter if it was a weekend or a weekday and well, I succeeded
:) We went to Huaringas. We arrived
there around 11pm and I was surprised the place was packed! OMG it was Tuesday
night! Wow, we really like to have fun, haha. We were enjoying some Pisco
drinks and Peruvian appetizers. It was Brandon ’s
1 st time in Lima… More history lessons with Mike and meeting old/new friends :) |

I was so amazed, she didn't know Huaringas aka Pisco Place, until we started to hang out more often. Right now, she loves this place, although she doesnt' like Pisco, but they also offer other cocktails besides tasty appetizers. Have to be honest, we became quite frequent customers here, hehehe. Nevermind, I went… New Piscos at the Pisco Place, yay!!! |
