We were four of us with lots of luggage. The taxi drivers would insist on charging us Bht 2500 from Bangkok to Pattaya by car.
I found out that from Ekkamai bus station you can go to pattaya in a comfortable AC van at just 160-170 Bht per person and reach in just 2 and half hours. Very convenient, no hassles, cheap and recommended for budget travellers. On reaching Pattaya take a tuk tuk but please bargain first. |
