How to have a great time in Kpalimé

Kpalimé is just one of those great cities in Africa that has everything (but isn't overwhelmingly big): great weather and BEAUTIFUL countryside; lots of touristy stuff to do, see, and buy; cheap and reliable transportation; really nice people to take you around (both Togolese and Yovo). There are dozens of restaurants, bars, and hotels that are both reasonably priced and serve/offer good quality product (be it clean sheets or a great plate of spaghetti bolognaise). People in Kpalimé know how to have fun and the bars are open every day late into the night. Look up the dancing/ drumming group "Zota" for a fun time; they usually practice in a closed bar just outside of the main taxi station (though it's been 3 years since I've been there, so perhaps not...)
