A cheaper alternative to the Airport Express Aug 27, 2007
The Airport Express Bus in Bergen is 80kr which is a little steep for the 20km bus-ride into town. You can however get into town a little cheaper if you're willing to change buses.
There are several ways: 1: This is the Semi-expensive way. Taking the Airport Bus to Nestun/Oasen , and changing to bus 100 there. It takes 5minutes more, but you'll save 17kr (40kr for the airport bus and 23kr for the bus into Bergen). 2: Taking a Local bus from the airport into one of the transport terminals outside of the city centre. Then changing to bus 100 to get into town. I believe you can use a single 23kr ticket to get all the way into town. This takes much longer, but will save you 57kr which is quite substantial. 3: Taking the Airport Bus (The ones that drives around Nestun is the fastest one) all the way into town. 80kr.
