Sep 11, 2006When in the main transportation centers of Kuala Lumpur, such as the Central Rail Station, the Airport, etc, you can't just walk up to a taxi and get in. You have to first go to a ticket window inside the building, wait in a line, and then tell the person behind the window where you want to go, and pay THEM for the taxi ride; they will then give you a ticket voucher for your taxi. You then take that outside, and wait in the next queue for your taxi, and then give the taxi driver your ticket. If you try to skip this first part, and just go out and wait in line for the taxi, you will not be allowed to get in, so it's really important to pay attention and do this correctly! Have a great time! |
