DISCLAIMER!!! I wrote this as kind of a humorous take on traveling through the war-torn parts of the country, war is no joke, especially when people are dying everyday however the longer we stayed in the country the more we became suceptable to the daily grind and even though what im advising below is the truth, i was being truly sarcastic!!
DOs and DONTs Dont Stop in traffic. Dont exit your vehicle either. Americans-er-Coalition Forces have the right of way...If armed, dont shoot unless shot at first, thats Rules of Engagement...ummm...and Kids like candy, beware of heavily dressed, covered 'females', they may have explosives underneath...yell 'Ogaf' and that is understood as 'stop'. This is not a REAL helpful review of traveling through actual Tikrit right now. But this is my honest 1st hand knowledge of how to NOT get shot in one of the dangerous places in the world! : )
