Hout Bay Travel and Tourism Guide

In Feb. and March 2007 I spent about 2 months in Cape Town doing some volunteering at the World Burn Foundation. I was working on weekdays and traveling at the weekends. Here are some of the pictures of the awesome area of the Western Cape - hope you enjoy them! :-)

During the summer of 2004 I was one of 5 British people who went out to Africa with a 2,000 strong team of international volunteers to try and bring aid, help and hope. Our work included prison ministry, helping in orphanages, working in the hospices with people with HIV/Aids, children's work, door to door evangelism and working with the homeless.

The citysightseeing bus is possibly one of the most convenient ways to explore the Mother City and includes stops at the Table Mountain cableway and various museums and attractions in the City in its Red Route. The Blue Route includes a trip to Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, as well as a township tour in Kronendal near Hout Bay, where you will also be able to visit the Mariner's Wharf and spend time on the beach.
