I went to the ACS Spring 2008 meeting and presented my work. I had a good time at the conference but an even better time getting to know the town and watching people on Bourbon Street act the fool. Nice city, too bad they are still waiting to rebuild.

Leaving Houston

I left Houston on the morning of July 20th. I was so excited when I got to the airport and went to the international terminal. I checked in for my flight to Tokyo, non-stop on a Boeing 777. I was a little nervous as our scheduled flight time was 14 hours. Man, that is a long flight.
