House Rama

Even the theatre isn't the target of people who travel in Bangkok but who knows, maybe you're bored of the beach, the shopping center, the pubs, the attractive places, bored to stay in the hotel or even stay outside alone or with friends, what would you do?

The movie ticket in Thailand is more cheaper than the US or the UK or other countries in Europe. Even now it's easy to buy DVD because it's really cheap here also but once in a life time, don't you wanna try the nice seat in the country you step on??? :)

If you're interested in it, House Rama is my recommend. In Bangkok you will see many theatres in every corner of the city such as EGV, SFX, Lido, Siam but here is different.

If you just want to watch the movies, you can go to anyone. But once you'd like to watch the movie you want, the movie you think that it's gotta be fun, the movie you know that it's a good movie but other people don't know, the movie which directs by noname director with noname actors but you know that it's interesting, it'd be more difficult to find the place to watch here because those kind of movies aren't be promoted or if they are, would be in a tiny advertise and will be shown in a short time.

But "House Rama" is the place for you.

House Rama selects good movie from everywhere in the world. Not only Indy and Art movies but also other kinds of movie that they're good. They represent themselves that they're not a theatre but a house and I think the same.

Not only theatres inside but there has House Cafe and sometimes they have concerts or interesting event there also. As we know, there still has people who love to watch the supermass movie more than movies like High Fidellity, Sea biscuit, Not one less, Amelie,Always, No regret, etc. so you'll be happy to watch the good movies with less people there.

120 baht for the seat, I think it's ok to spend one hour and a half to relax there.
