Onigiri with homemade deli served by rice shop Jan 03, 2012
This is a small rice shop that serves onigiri (rice ball) and deli made by the wife of the owner's.
As they are a rice shop, the taste of rice balls were very fabulous! You can choose the filling from the long list and the wife will make onigiri in accordance with your order, so it's always very warm and nice.
And the deli that she served tastes nothing special, but very homemade food made by Japanese moms. It's very tasty and healthy.I always feel very relaxed to enjoy food there.
The lunch set that I always order costs 680yen. It consists of 2 onigiris, miso soup, main dish, 1 little portion of side deli. It's quite filling and I think it's very cheap for the quality of the food.
You can add 1 or 2 more onigiris upon additional fee if it's not enough. (I think lunch set with 3 onigiris were something like 730yen. Also very cheap!)
And owner's wife is always kind and always welcomes you so she often gives guests desserts even it's not included in the lunch set.
If you would like to experience Japanese mom's home made food, this is the place to go!
