Affordable hotel in Helsinki Dec 09, 2013
I stayed at Hotel Anna for 2 nights in Helsinki. The location can be a little off central, though still walkable from the main railway station. Alternatively, you can take the bus or tram for a few stops. I walked mainly and it takes me about 15 mins, walking slowly from the railway station to the hotel. It is located at the junction of Annankatu and Ratakatu. Once you are on Annankatu, you need to head towards the right direction and you will see the hotel sign at the building.

The hotel, however, is nearer to the Market square. There is kiosk and Mcdonald's nearby. It is located in the Deisgn district as well.

I stayed in a single room, and it is comfortable for me, as a single person. There is one bed, but the design is really compact and practical. There is a mini-bar in every room, and an umbrella. Wifi is available in every room as well.

You will need to leave your key with the reception whenever you leave the hotel. I have no idea why is that so, but there is a safe in the room which you can use. Breakfast is accessible from level 2, and there is a luggage room which you can put your luggage after you check out.

There are a lot of information about Helsinki in the lobby so if you do not know where to go in Helsinki, you will be able to find out more about the city there. Overall, cosy hotel, and lovely room for single occupancy.
Breakfast. I am a small eater when…
