The Hotel in the Pampas Jul 30, 2008
Since I have another review about the Hotel from "The Jungle" (the camp in Madidi Park), now I write about the other camp tour to “Yacuma River” which is known more for "The Pampas", and I will refer to the new Hotel "Hotel en Las Pampas" and take to make a comparison between the two.

To begin with, “The Jungle Camp” has three double rooms and a common piece for ten people, here in "The Pampas”, is bigger but has no spare doubles and has about three pieces each for about fifteen people, and the privacy is less.

After, in both the bathrooms are common but at “Hotel in The Pampas”, there are two sectors with bathrooms and a laundry for anyone who wants to wash his clothes, there is also like a kitchen next to the dining room, but in this camp there are a room with hammocks, where one can sleep a litle.

As in the “Hotel in The Jungle" the construction is of rustic wood but here the ceiling is mainly calamine, in this camp the electric current is generated with a small engine and only lasts until some time, like in the other the showers are cold, but one does not need hot water by the heat.

All beds have their network for mosquitoes, and the windows are single wire millimetres, but like a sleeping with fatigue very well.

The price is similar and also the food is inclusive, now in this place you can get a beer, something not found in "The Jungle".

And the big difference while at “Hotel in The Jungle", I had my balcony in the bedroom (which resulted in several posts), at “Hotel in The Pampas", the entire hotel is filled with balconies, since during the rainy season, this entire camp is on the river and it is as though he were floating.

Do not know to tell which is more beautiful or better, both have their charm and both bring to the adventurous tourists who were there, very good memories.
