It was built as an augustinian convent and the interior still has traces of an antique medieval tower that was destroyed by ghibellini in the year 1260. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city facing the ponte vecchio and next to the uffizi gallery. Within walking distance are many shops and museums. The hotel is well-known for its beautiful rooms and magnificent views looking out over ponte vecchio. The hotel has 42 rooms all of which are...(see more) carefully restored with private facilities.
