We left and walked towards the left side of Seine and therefore headed towards Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame. We stopped at the corner of Place the Hotel de Ville where we could overview the traffic. We ordered two large beers and had to pay 16,40€ for the beers.
It was the closest you can get to a robbery… Back in the lovely Paris |

Goign back to the center, my favorite shop is BHV "Bazaar de l'Hotel de Ville" that is not only one of Paris historic department store but also the best place to find everything for everyone in one single location, best time to shop: "Vente" time ( sales time ). Things get extremely affordable. One other thing to love… Honestly in Paris... |

Armed with the city map from my Moleskine Paris notebook, I trekked my way to Arc de Triomphe. Took some photos and once again, vowed to come back one night to do some night photography. The hotel is a short walk from Arc de Triomphe. I rested a bit in my room and opened my complimentary bottle of wine courtesy of the hotel… 3 Days in Paris |

We quickly circumnavigated the Place de l'Etoile and were on our way to our hotel before the honking and congestion began.
Once back at our room, we changed clothes and headed to the 33rd floor of our hotel to enjoy our last "freebie", a complimentary drink and spectacular views… Fast forward thirty-six years |

Od bronzovej hviezdy v dlažbe sa určuje vzdialenosť francúzskych miest, je to point zreo des routes de France (bod nula francúzskych ciest). Keďže už bolo neskoré popoludnie, prebehol som po moste do blízkeho obchoďáku Hotel de Ville, kde sa dá na niekoľkých poschodiach kúpiť takmer všetko od klincov na prízemí až po celý nábytok… Paris - instant guide :-) - day two / Zrýchlený sprievodca mestom - deň druhý |
