 Beautiful Terrace in Madrid Nov 09, 2008
Right on Gran Vía you find Hotel de Las Letras. If you go in and take the elavator to the top floor you find a beautiful bar with a small terrace. You can go for a drink but you also have the chance to have some snacks "tapas". We had 6 beers, 1 cheese plate and some "gazpacho" for 52 euros, so it is not that expensive considering its location.
It is not very big, so I recommend you to go early, around 8 pm or so. They open from 7 pm, but at that time it might be very hot in the summer. I believe it is also open during winter, but I still haven´t gone at that time. I went there with a friend, althought it might be more appropriate to go with your couple! By the way, call befor you go, as they close in the winter!
