Sand dunes in the back yard :-) Sep 20, 2009
Arriving to Ica we thought we had reservations in Hotel Mossone at Huacachina oasis resort. But they turned out to be overbooked. So they directed us to ‘Hotel Villa Jazmin’ (Los Girasoles Mz. C-1, Lote 7, Res. ‘La Angostura’), Ica. About 7 kilometres outside, but at a very nice location next to the sand dunes.
First thing we noticed was a nice pool bar in a blue, sunny pool :-) But…… we had other plans (a buggy tour at the sand dunes), so….. unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to dip into it! My room turned out to be basic, but spacious and in a nice design. Next morning the breakfast was very good! Although far outside the village we didn’t feel sorry at all that we ended up in this hotel! Hotel has 20 rooms. For more information: www.villajazmin.net  Part of the Peru 2009 travel blog
