Nice hotel near Taj Mahal Sep 19, 2009
Nice location, near Taj Mahal. Among the top hotels in Agra, therefore expensive but did not disappoint. Nice pool with grass around and walking distance from a nice mall with food and shopping inside (including McDonald's). Good property, has some grass and trees too, which I always prefer to pure brick and mortar. Helpful, accommodating staff. Nice looking bar and restaurant (good food too) but did not see too many guests there, perhaps bcs there are many good restaurants in Agra. Drove from Delhi to Agra and back. Agra is not a good city to get lost in if you are driving (we did get lost coming in and experienced some pretty messed up by-lanes) so it was a relief not having to go thru similar maze since very short distance to Taj Mahal from hotel.
