Ok, so this is the hotel I stayed in when I began my tour of the Bolivian Altiplano in Uyuni. It was a very nice hotel with good service and great hot showers. It wasn't too expensive, $45 a night for me and my boyfriend. It was clean and had a restaurant attached to it where you could have breakfast (free) and at night they are supposed to have fabulous pizza. I didn't eat there for dinner but the breakfast was simple but nice. There was a common area with a TV but I don't think they had internet access. They also provide tour services and were the company we went with. Great service!!

Uyuni itself is very neat and tiny, and our hotel (Toñito Hotel) is right next door to the army base and an easy walk to the plaza. It is run by a young man from Boston and his Bolivian wife, and the pizzas in the restaurant were pretty good. Have found… Off to the desert |
