Hotel Ter Streep Ostend

We chose this hotel for our one night stay in Ostend for two reasons: it was one of the cheapest we could find that had still rooms available, and it is practically at the doorstep of the Kursaal theater.

We went to Ostend to see a Flamenco show perform and therefor the main issue was that the hotel would be close by, which it was. The center of the city and the beach are also extremely close, so the location of Ter Streep is practically ideal to me. Yet the place isn't fancy nor vivid.

Our room was extremely small and warm, with air con that didn't work, yet it was clean. The bar below was way to smoky and when we got back from the show around 11 pm there was no one to be seen except for one old man watching football. The waiter was half of the time gone so it was a challenge only to place orders. We left after one drink.

Breakfast however was simple but nice, and the breakfast area wasn't too crowded. So if you don't mind a small hotel this place is, seen the low price, pretty much ok. It is recommended if you want to spend just only the night here and don't expect much luxury.
