A hotel just like a home Oct 07, 2008
If you visit Cirebon and want to stay at a hotel like a home, Hotel Sunyaragi is the place. That is what I like from Hotel Sunyaragi. I feel like home. The building is more like a big house than a hotel. It is one story building with only 15 bedrooms and 1 petite house.

The facilities of the hotel are a swimming pool and a cafe. The facilities in bedroom are AC, refrigerator, TV with local channels, and hot water. The bathroom has bathtub.

Usually, my big family stay here during Lebaran (Eid Mubarok) season for 3 days and 2 nights. We rent all bedrooms and the facilities, i.e. swimming pool and cafe. So, it can be said that it is like a private hotel to us during our stay. The children like to swim. The adults like to chat at the pool deck or the cafe.

The location is suburb and 10 minutes from downtown. So, the environment is quite quiet and not crowded. It is closed to a tourism spot, Sunyaragi Cave. It is about 5 minutes walk. If you need snack, drink, or others, there is a mini market across the street.

The rate is as follow:

Petite House IDR 425000

Deluxe IDR 300000

Moderate IDR 285000

Standard IDR 275000

Driver IDR 100000

Extra Bed IDR 85000

The price includes breakfast, service and tax. The food and the drink for breakfast are fried rice, bread with butter, pineapple, and strawberry jam, coffee, tea, and lemon tea.

Cirebon is a city that located next to a sea, so it is hot and there are many mosquitoes. The hotel anticipates it by providing an electric device to expel the mosquitoes in each bedroom. Every evening there is also a room boy offers to spray the mosquitoes. If you want, you can bring your own mosquito repellent.

Lumayan jauh. Di sebelah stasiun kereta ada hotel minimalis. Keliatannya bagus tapi saya belum pernah nginep di sana. Kalo mau yang di tengah kota, ada hotel Asri. Jadi kalau mau city tour tinggal ngebecak.
