Hotel Straf Milan

I probably spent most of my summer at the Bar Straf for their one-of-a-kind aperitivo. This is where the locals go, the trendy chic and professionals who work in downtown and make a 'salto' to Straf for a proseco, some pasta or just a friendly chat.

The inside bar is quite small so most of the people are lounging outside on square-sized beds that cover the whole street. It's a great spot for people watching just 2 min away from the Duomo. The music is incredible and although there isn't too much to choose from the food (free during aperitivo time) it's always quality-worthy.

Max the bartender is FAMOUS and he'll suggest the best cocktails in the house. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent bar!

Very funky hotel. It was very artistic and industriel. Great staff and very good breakfast. Loved the Strawberries! Superb location. Just across from the Duomo, the Vittorio Emanuele, the Scala, tourust info, restaurants, subway, shopping etc...

Wow! This is an awesome Milan hotel. It was just what I expected from Milan, a style forward thoughtfully designed comfort zone. If you love contempoarty Italian design, you might not want to leave the hotel. You will though because, this is Milan!

The staff is ever helpful, noting is too much or too difficult. The breakfast is an offering with much choice. The fitness equipment is lacking and in need of maintainence.

The rooms are dark wood, leather, glass, and chrome. The room was of moderate size. The bed was comfy, but not overly so. The bath was compact but equally appointed as everthing else.

This hotel is close to many cafes, restaurants, and shops. The duomo so close that you will be able to see it from the front door. Public transport is convenient as well.

Milan is an expensive city, in gerneral. This hotel is a bit overpriced, even with the wonderful atmosphere and service. It's definitely a splurge. You should do it alteast once. It is fantastic.
