Hotel Sidhartha Agra

Horrifying place and people, dont go even if its free.

Ever heard anyone shouting at customers who is going to pay for their stay. I strongly advise... dont even go close to this hotel. such a j**k person owning and managing this place.

BTW the place stinks...it is actually an old residential place converted. you can see damaged houses, broken furniture, and stinking beddings (remove bedsheets to see dirty mattress).

Not a single person in Agra has good thought about this hotel.

Manager checked my wife into a room with a broken hot water heater. We had just come from a 12 hour train ride and were in need of a good shower. Despite several complaints, nothing was done until the next morning when we were given a key to the room next to our and told to use that bathroom for a shower.

When we went to check out, the manager tried to charge us a 150rps more than the hotels published price (on their website). When we contested the price the manger got extremely angry and became very rude. He said he was "giving us one room for free": the room we took a shower in that morning! He refused to lower his price and began insulting my wife, brother, and father.

The restaurant was also terrible, serving food that had hair in it. The utensils were greasy and had left over food particles on them. The cups were also dirty and the tea pot had a huge piece of curry stuck in the spout.

This is not a quality hotel for the price or service. Go elsewhere if you want respect and a hot shower and a soft bed.
