Hotel Selena Mamaia

The Hotel Selena's poor conditions, shoddy maintenance, and lack of safety concerns was directly responsible for the death of 3 and 1/2 year Alice Stancu on July 13, 2003. After the death of Alice, the Hotel Selena denied any responsibility in the tragedy; however, recent photos show that the broken, corroded, and inadequate balcony railings have been replaced. Attached are photos of Alice, the hole where she fell through, and the decayed building.
In addition to a denial of any cupability for the accident the hotel management had the lives of the parents threathened when they tried to seek justice in the Romanian courts.
I believe that if I were seeking a hotel on the beautiful Roamanian Black Sea Coast I would stay at a place that was not a danger to my children. Ask yourself, do you want to support a place this callous?
