Affordable Colonial Hotel Nov 30, 2009
The Hotel San Miguel Arcangel is in a 16th century colonial structure that was constructed out of limestone blocks from the nearby Maya culture historical structures. The Hotel San Miguel Arcangel is on the Hun Pic Tok square and adjacent to the Mayan pyramid of the same name. Hun Pic Tok is the Mayan God of War. This structure was tastefully remodeled into a modern hotel. The decor of the Hotel San Miguel Arcangel is very pleasing with a masterful use of lighting that conveys a sense of intimate luxury. Several second floor rooms of the Hotel San Miguel Arcangel have balconies that face Hun Pic Tok square. I have not stayed at the Hotel San Miguel Arcangel but have visited this property many times picking up or dropping off travel partners that require this level of comfort. A double at the Hotel San Miguel Arcangel with air conditioning cost $65.00 to $75.00 per night. The Hotel San Miguel Arcangel property is clean and well maintained with helpful, tri-lingual, friendly staff.
