I'm not sure of the price since it was prepaid when with Intrepid Travel, but my guess is that it is a good bargain for such a large city. Though it doesn't look all that impressive from the outside, the rooms are clean, the staff friendly and the location ideal for exploring Casablanca. ( It's located in the central quarter, not far from the old medina and port.) A good place for a one or two night stay in the city. They are even willing to store impulsive purchases such as granite sinks until one can find a way to ship it home!

We arrived at Hotel Salim, quickly checked in among the throngs of West Africans also staying there (they wear the most wonderfully beautiful and colorful clothing) and were soon off to check out some of the city prior to meeting our Intrepid group at 6pm. It was suggested… Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine. |
