The Saintonge is located in the heart of the Marais in Paris. Its a great location to allow you access to the city if you are looking for convenience and ease of getting around.

The hotel is quaint and quite small (only 23 rooms). The elevator is tiny, so pack light. The rooms are clean, but again, very small. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed, and the bathrooms are extremely small. Also, in my room, there was no shower curtain.

The breakfast room is in the basement and is rather gloomy. I nicknamed it the "dungeon" on my stay, and it seems a rather fitting description. It is quite small, dark and low ceilings. Don't let that dissuade you though, as the coffee and breakfasts are quite good for a quick start to your day.
