Hotel Rainbow Seoul

The Hotel Rainbow is located in the center of Seoul, with very close proximity to the US Military's USO club and a ton of restaurants of all kinds.  There are seven floors with about 20 rooms per floor.  The rooms are well appointed, especially for the price.  My room included a large television and a computer with high speed internet access.  Not every room includes the computers with internet, so ask if you want the service.  The bathrooms are decent, with a tub and shower, although I don't think I could fit into the Tub, and there isn't a shower curtain!

This hotel resembles a love hotel, typical to the Asian region, but it seems to be frequented by American soldiers that are in town for a short time.   The walls aren't that thick, but they are good enough to attenuate most of the room noise from next door.  I am paying 5500 korean per day (for the internet enabled room), and rooms must be payed one day at a time.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a cheap hotel that is clean and safe, with very good location in Seoul, the Rainbow is your spot.
