Our stay in Hotel Qusqo was an excellent deal. $40US between three people for a large room with four beds, cable TV, a private bathroom, free breakfast, free coca tea and little balconies overlooking the alley leading right into the Plaza des Armas, in the center of town. The tourist information place is right downstairs, as are restaurants, a convenience store and taxis. The door guy seemed kinda loopy, but he always brought us anything we asked for with a smile and a goofy joke that made no sense.
Only thing is, don't try to pay with credit card. They have an antiquated credit card machine, but no one at the hotel seems to know how to use it.  Part of the Peru 2006 travel blog

Hotel Qusqo turns out to be a really good deal. The room we got was actually a quad, but we got it for the price of a triple (the bargained-down price, too). The room was pretty sweet and had two little balconies looking into… Love Me, Don't Eat Me |
