Our stay in Hotel Qusqo was an excellent deal. $40US between three people for a large room with four beds, cable TV, a private bathroom, free breakfast, free coca tea and little balconies overlooking the alley leading right into the Plaza des Armas, in the center of town. The tourist information place is right downstairs, as are restaurants, a convenience store and taxis. The door guy seemed kinda loopy, but he always brought us anything we asked for with a smile and a goofy joke that made no sense.

Only thing is, don't try to pay with credit card. They have an antiquated credit card machine, but no one at the hotel seems to know how to use it.

bigmig22 says: If you are going to Cusco, you HAVE to stay at this hostel. It's the best place to meet people and have a good time. I warn you though, it might be hard to leave. I will refrain from telling you too much about the hostel, except that it is awesome. I'll let you experience the hostel for yourself.
