Hotel Onda Verde Praiano

The Hotel Onda Verde is a wonderful hotel with incredible views of the Amalfi Coast. Many rooms have sea views and there is also a giant shared patio for relaxation and taking in the beautiful scenery. The rooms have all amenities: Internet, satellite TV (not that you'll be watching TV in this location!), hair dryers, etc. The only drawback was that I felt the bed could have been more comfortable for the price - about $250.00 U.S. per night.

The hotel restaurant was excellent and served breakfast daily with the room rate. I didn't have a chance to try this, but the chef offers cooking classes for those interested in Italian cuisine.

Another plus of this hotel is its location. It is in close proximity to Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano. A nice evening out, Ravello offers open-air concerts at many times during the year. Although not as close, Pompeii is easily visited as a day trip.

Only ten minutes from the hotel, and known to be the most popular and best nightclub on the Amalfi Coast, is Club L'Africana. This club is in two caves with a dance floor made of plates of glass so you can see the sea beneath you as you party the night away.

Overall this is pure paradise. So, grab a limoncello and soak it up!
