Hotel Olcott New York Reviews

When I booked my room, I was not Nov 23, 2008
When I booked my room, I was not expecting any frills or luxurious accomodations. The rates they offered me were extremely reasonable and saved me enough money (over the chain hotel prices) that I felt it was worth the loss of a few features.

The room was clean. Could use a new coat of paint. It was quite. Could have used an alarm clock. Bed was OK, but could use new pillows. Good Value for your dollar. We would and are going to stay again. read entire review at TravelPost.com

Unforgettable days Jul 04, 2008
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days in mid summer more than a decade ago.

The rooms where terrible and small. We Jul 01, 2008
The rooms where terrible and small. We where afraid to pull back the covers on the beds. There was an inch gap between the door and the door jam. We where kept up all night by the noisy people in the room next door. We had several knocks on our d...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Not a noisy place, comfortable, enchanted neighbourhood, excellent location!read entire review at TravelPost.com

Brilliant! Dec 14, 2005
Rather than stay in a cookie-cutter shoebox while in NYC, I went to the Olcott on the recommendation of friends, and am glad I did. The first impression that sprang to mind when seeing the hallways and lobby was 'decayed splendor', but th...read entire review at TravelPost.com
