We left Hopfgarten after a great breakfast. It was definitely one of my favourite stops on the tour. We made our first stop of the day at 9:00 at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds (just outside Innsbruck) it was definitely one of the weirdest museums I hotel (Park Inn Munich East), and had enough time to change before going to a Bavarian beer hall, Hofbrauhaus, for dinner. Finally it was Munich, Germany for the first couple of days of Oktoberfest, which starts on October 20. We took the train from Vienna to Munich which left us at the main bus station or Bahnhof there. Our hotel was the Tulip Inn at Munich Airport. We…hotel was the Tulip Inn at Munich Airport. We found out that this Inn isn't at the airport at all and that you need a taxi from the airport to get there. I am on the plane headed to Munic. From there we will go to Naples and then get on a bus to Sorrento. There was a little turbulanceearlier that was sort of frightening - to me anyway. It's 2:44 AM, but it's bright and sunny outside - which means tha…hotel nicer than a Holiday Inn, so this was quite a leap. My college has some crazy connections to be able to pull this off for so cheap. Unreal. What's also unreal, but oh so real was the tour we took of the grounds… still flying... |
