excellent service at the Hotel Monasterio Nov 04, 2011
I stayed here 4 nights, two before and two after visiting Machu Picchu. Together with my family. At arrival we got a drink of coca-tea, which helps you to be used to the altitude of 3.350 mtr. I arrived at 10 am with my backpack from another hotel, so the staff didn't know I should stay there, but they helped me immediately with this 15 kg heavy stuff. I got my room soon. Plaza Nazarena is a small square with an interesting museum, some nice hotels and shops, and good restaurants.

The restaurants in the hotel were good as well, a full breakfast with a guitar player, lunch in the garden, dinner with opera music. Very special.

The rooms are not that big for 2, but we had a terrace as well.

Wonderful experience in Cuzco Oct 24, 2010
This is an old Monastery now converted to a luxury hotel and located just 2 blocks from the Main Centre in Cuzco. The hotel main courtyard has a 300 year old tree and beautifully landscaped. The service by the front desk, concierge and everyone in the hotel was excellent. I had a wonderful time.

a very luxury hotel in the middle of the world Dec 17, 2008
This is the best and more expensive hotel I have ever been...

Everything had so many details... from the lobby, to the suite, the terrace, the court yard, the multiple gardens, the restaurant... everything. ohhh and there are shop inside !!!

The bed was so soft that you just close the eyes at once.... and yes it is hard to wake up in the morning. All you want is stay warm in that great bed. And it doesnt matter if you are alone or with company ;p those beds are just amazing ...he,he

The people were very kind. I almost got lost with so many stairs and halls.

That hotel has an own little church, and it´s allowed to organize a wedding. Could you beleive that?? Have the ceremony over there and the party in the principal restaurant.... Ohh and get this, they have special suites for the wedding night....

Incredible, isnt it???

If I get the chance, If I ever get married I would consider that place, yeah why not if it is the middle of the World????
The main court yard.
