Hotel Majoro

We stayed two nights in Hotel Majoro, Panamericana sur KM 447, Nazca.
Hotel Majoro is a former hacienda, a little bit far outside Nazca (you need transportation to get to Nazca), but close to the airport to book your Nazca lines flight. Rooms are spacious, somewhat old fashioned, but okay (as well was the bathroom).

The atmosphere and interior design of the public areas of the hotel are great! Very stylish. Nice swimming pool, lovely garden to sit and to walk! There are some statues and animals (alpaca, peacocks) in this garden.

Restaurant is nice decorated, food is average. Breakfast buffet is good.

A beautifully built hotel, but too far away from the city itself (actually, the hotel is in the middle of pretty much nowhere.

The hotel has two large gardens with to swimming pools (I did not them try out), but the other entertainment facilities are very poorly kept (the pooltable and queues are very much crooked, and the table tennis tables are without a net and on the verge of collapsing).

My room is only a little bit larger than microscopic (although I that this time I was one of the unlucky ones in room sizes), but it's clean and the bed is comfortable.

The restaurant serves good food, and even the breakfast packages we had (because we were too early for the restaurant to be open) were very well taken care of.

Really lovely place just outside Nazca nearby the airport where the small planes depart to circle above the Nazca lines. The hotel has a large surrounding with a swimming pool, free internet, really nice restaurant with friendly staff. At breakfast you can choose from different kind of juices, scrambled, fried eggs, fresh fruit etc. The hotel room was not very large but ok. The bathroom in my opinion was really luxureous with bath, shower, toilet and sink, see for my pictures how it looks like. When I first entered the room I thought well do I have to sleep with a big hairy red crab above my head?! Well luckily my eyes were closed all night :-)
