Hotel Lenas Donau

We spend 4 nights in this hotel in Vienna. The main reason we chose it was: it's cheap. We got a special rate, because of the Irish dancing competition, but even without that rate is very affordable for Vienna. We paid € 60,00 for a double room with breakfast, normal fee would be around € 75,00 for the same room with breakfast.
The location however was amazing: just beside the Alte Donau (the old Danube), just 10 minutes outside the city centre with the U-bahn. Alongside the Alte Donau were some nice restaurants/bars as well, and a little bit farther from the hotel and river a nice little mall.
The hotel is fully decorated with Ikea furniture, good but nothing fancy. The rooms were clean and served their purpose: sleeping. Bathroom was nice: not very large but the hot water kept running while taking a shower, the toilet doesn't run over, so what more could somebody ask for?
The breakfast is very nice: the hotel tries to use as much biological products as possible; add to that fresh Austrian bread and buns, a nice selection of meats and cheese, yoghurts, cereals and juices and you'll have a nice meal.
One downside of the hotel: it's sometimes understaffed, so checking in or ordering a drink at the bar can take some time.
