This 3 star hotel has a great location,5 minutes walk from the Place Bellecour(Tourist office-subway),half way between 2 subway stations(Ampère and Bellecour)and 10 minutes walk from Perrache(Airport shuttle,train station) and 15 minutes walk from the Old Lyon.Situated in a pedestrian street,it offers 67 rooms with basic decoration(be careful of the size of the room and of the bathroom which varies).All the AC rooms have a minifridge,free Wifi(there is a shared computer in the lobby),satelitte TV,hairdryer.The lift is accessible to the disabled guests.
As the pedestrian street may be very NOISY at night(because of lots of young loud people gathering to socialize,drink..), book a room overlooking the courtyard! As guy from Lyon ( a "gone" ),I'm doing today before having lunch in a close restaurant (Coté Bellecour et Coté cuisine,hotel Le Royal's restaurant) a pilgrimage to this huge square,the largest pedest…… Place Bellecour,a large town square and the heart of Lyon. |
