Hotel La Legende Brussels Jan 02, 2009
I found this hotel in Rick Steves' travel book and have to agree it is a very nice hotel for a reasonable price in a central location in the heart of Brussels. Several key locations (Grand Place, Gare Centrale, Mannequin Pis) are within walking distance of this hotel. The staff was also very accommodating and flexible as I changed my reservation a few times before arriving. I would stay here again.

We got ourselves out of bed at a reasonable hour on Sunday morning, vacated our hotel and followed our map to where the Sunday markets were hosted. It was huuuuuge. We only bought a few bits and pieces but it amused us for hours - so muc…… The Sunday Markets!! |

So far so good. It was 42 degrees when we landed this morning but it
turned out to be a nice day. So far, I have walked around and
experienced a magnificent lunch on the Grand'Place. My American number
is not working right now so I have to call T…… I'm here! |
