Hotel Kabuki

Hotel Kabuki is located in Japantown on Post Street in San Francisco.

This city is expensive and we found this hotel searching online. It is part of the Jois De Vivre chain. We paid about $100 for the night.

True to it's name the decoration through the hotel is Japanese. We had a view out over the Japanese pagoda located next door. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. However the bathtub was the deepest I have ever seen and they provide toiletries and robes so you can enjoy and a relaxing soak. However if you want to go all out there is a spa and communal bath for the total experience. Also they offer a welcome tea ceremony...well they advertise that they do. We did not get ours and forgot to ask about it.

If I remember there was wireless internet which I think was complimentary. The parking however was not. It was valet and was $20 with in and out priviledges. It was high but parking is not great anywhere in the city so I guess it was worth it.

Would I stay here again? Sure, if I got the room for $100 or less.
