Hotel Julamis

This was our first trip to Merida, and we loved every minute of it! This was the first time we have stayed in a small hotel and we cannot fault it. The staff were wonderful, energetic, and fun. We felt looked after and guided through our day trips to close by attractions. The hotel was beautiful, with enormous attention to detail. The rooms were cool and big, beds and A/C units were brand new. I was woken at dawn by the birds. Eating breakfast on the terrace surrounded by exotic plants was a memorable experience!

Hotel Julamis is what a B&B used to be like many years ago: simple, affordable and lots of perks.
We thought the delicious breakfast served in the court yard every morning, the daily stocked mini bar with beer and other drinks, and the Free LAN Internet service, offered at not extra charge were amenities hard to come by even in big chain hotels nowadays. Hotel Julamis staff was friendly and gracious; they always helped us with restaurant recommendations and bus tickets reservations.
We truly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Yucatan and congratulate its owners for raising the bar on customer service at a real affordable price.
