Traditional colonial manor Oct 19, 2009
The Hotel Inca Real is conveniently situated in the colonial center of Cuenca. The building of the hotel is also a traditional colonial manor, it was built in the 19th century and later turned into a hotel.
The rooms are small and simple, most rooms only have windows that view the hallway. The building has three courtyards and old wooden floors. This original setting makes the accommodation a bit noisy (you can very clearly hear people walk by when you want to take a before dinner-nap, but at night it is quiet enough). The ambiance and service are excellent. |

The friendly staff at the Inca Real hotel jumped on the phone to my tour company to see if they could figure out what went wrong, however the guide was already out in the National park by that point and had apparently checked the hotel so who knows ??? To their… The day hike that wasn't! |
