Hotel/Hostel Rubicon Reviews
Excellent hotel or hostel in heart of Prague Apr 13, 2009
I stayed at this place because my brother wanted a hostel, but I wanted a hotel. I had the option to get a dorm style room or a single room. I opted for the single room. It was very clean, cheery, single bathroom (private) and came with a TV. The location is great. A 5 minute walk from the old town center and a 3 minute walk from the tram station. 5 to 8 min walk to the Metro.
I paid about $30 USD per night for a single, private room. Breakfast was included. Breakfast was yogurt, cereal, coffee, cheese, meat, and bread. It was not fancy, but it served my needs to shower, sleep and keep my items secure. It was a little bit loud in the morning because my room (Room 207) was near the breakfast room. So, starting at 7:30, it got a little loud. But, not intolerable. Otherwise, during the night, it was quiet and no rowdy guests. My brother and his friends stayed in a 10 person dorm room and had no problems. Other than they only had 1 bathroom and kept coming to use mine! Recommended place to stay!! |
