Hotel El Jardin Reviews
“Nice but a little overpriced Oct 01, 2009
We rolled into town without reservations and found that the town was pretty packed. We were able to get the last room at El Jardin for $95/night (The most we paid for anywhere in four trips to Costa Rica). The room was pretty basically furnished and dark with crappy lighting (fluorescent light bulbs) that was so dim you couldn't read in the room.
The grounds of the hotel are nice and the pool is great. They offer free coffee and bananas in the morning by the reception but that requires walking aways downhill and there wasn't anywhere to sit and drink it. El Jardin is probably the nicest hotel located in the village but I think it's vastly overpriced. |

A great place in a great little village. After clambering up a steep incline, the cabin was seen with a nice patio, repleat with hammock. As we now know, hammocks rock. The air-conditioning was ridiculously effective - I haver rarely been so cold in theis place. Great little pool and a sort of jacuzzi with grounds inhabited by strange beasts, such as the coati. Groovy. And the Waterfall isn´t far away, if unreachable.
