Hotel Dzveli Ubani

The hotel is a bit hard to find in the Old Town. I suggest a cab. It's down an alley way in the narrow streets and is dark at night. The hotel staff is friendly and atleast one of the girls does speak English but, most of the other's don't. The place has a homey (lived in) atmosphere. That isn't a terrible thing but, don't expect even 3*. The room was of generous size. The bed was ok. I was able to sleep on it....that's saying alot. The bath was clean. We had an issue with the air conditioning and the staff moved us without a problem. I would reccomend staying here....I know it might sound otherwise. Hotels in general are expensive here. Budget accomodations are hard to find and clean and friendly even harder. This is a good one (for Georgia). Context is everything.
