Strategically located and friendly managers! Dec 29, 2007
We stayed 5 nights in this hotel owned and managed by 3 brothers and their father, situated in an old middle-class building,300 m from the Termini Station and Terravision shuttle for Ciampino airport.
We had the large, clean and quiet room 303 with a comfy bed, convenient bathroom and a small TV,with only Italian channels but we were not here to watch Cnn!The breakfast is light but enough for French and Italian people! The incredibly nice brothers suggested us local, cheap but amazing restaurants nearby where we enjoy the traditional buccatini all'amatriciana, tonarelli con cacio e pepe, saltimbocca, trippa, coda alla vaccinara, carcioffi alla giuda. For NYE ,they brougt in our room a bottle of spumante and some delicacies... We always felt safe in this hotel allthough the Termini area is a bit "shady", even when we came back from our NYE in Peppone Ristorante,Via EMILA 60,an expensive and without ambience(this night) restaurant. You get a 3% discount in paying cash! Part of the Roma NYE 2008 travel blog |
