Hotel Der Tannenbaum Stadtzentrum Munich

Excellent hotel when you want to stay in München for either a short or a long time. The room we had was extremely large with an extra separate bedroom. In the main area we also had a small sitting area.
The reception of the hotel was in Hotel Herzog Wilhelm, on the other side of the building, but nontheless the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Both hotels `Hotel Der Tannenbaum` and `Hotel Herzog Wilhelm` are situated between S-Bahn `Karslplatz (Stachus)` and U-bahn `Sendlinger Tor`.
For the shoppers the main shopping areas are nearby, as well as a lot of the cities sights, Frauenkirche, Marienplatz with the old and new City Hall with the famous Glockenspiel, and the famous Hofbräuhaus.
Also something you should visit when you are in München is `Schloß Nymphenburg` which was very nice, but should be much nicer in spring or summer.
The Olympic Shopping Center (Olympia-Einkaufszentrum) is a mall, like the Centro Shopping Mall in Oberhausen, which shoppers should visit, on the way over there, or back, you could visit the English cinema, CINEMA Filmtheater München, on the Nymphenburger Straße 31 (exit U1 Stiglmaierplatz).

All in all the hotel, Hotel Der Tannenbaum, is a great and clean hotel, with a good breakfast buffet and a friendly staff.
I would definitely visit München, in this hotel, again.
