Hotel Del Principado

I just completed two brief stays at the Del Principado and highly recommend this hotel to any classification of traveller. This hotel is located on a quiet street in the Zona Rosa but near to subway and busses for getting to various sections of Mexico City. Actually those who can walk moderate to long distances can walk to many neighborhoods and attractions from this location. It is located two blocks from the beautiful Paseo del la Reforma, the main thoroughfare in Mexico City.

The hotel has an excellent front desk staff who are more than willing to help with traveler's questions and needs. Included in the moderate cost of a room is an extensive breakfast buffet again staffed by a pleasant wait staff. Many Mexicans working in the area often stop in for breakfast. Beginning in the afternoon the hotel restaurant offers a "menu del dia" which is more than reasonably priced. However there are many restaurants and sidewalk stands just a few blocks away offering a variety of foods. The rooms are impeccably maintained. Staying at the Principado was a most pleasant experience.
