Hotel Del Coronado
Hotel Del Coronado Reviews
Historic, destination beach vacation hotel Jul 11, 2009
The hotel was beautiful. The age of the hotel made me feel like i was back in the 1950's when people used to go on beach vacations and not need to go anywhere else 'off campus'. The Hotel del was a perfect memorial day weekend beach destination for my friend and I. Staying on the beach was awesome. Palm trees and well manicured lawns were awesome. Sitting outside sipping drinks, watching the sun set... simply beautiful. The only negative, was the distance to 'downtown' or the Gaslamp district. You have to cross the river, which can take time, be a hassle to snag a cap, and kinda pricey going back and forth. Would i stay again? If i was looking to visit San Diego for the beach, without a doubt. If i wanted to 'party', i'd stay in the Gaslamp.

She had some creative shots. Here and there, there were bonfires right on the beach that looked so inviting. I wish… Sunset photo ops and Italian seafood dinner on Coronado island |

the beach. We caught a wedding reception in full speed and listened to
the steel drum calypso music while watching the sunset over the beach. Karine
and Jean reminded me just how lucky I am to live in San Diego… Sunset on Coronado Island |
