Very good hotel in the center of Caen Jun 23, 2009
When you are going to view the monuments from world war II in Normandy this hotel is an excellent choise, very good service, good quality and very cheap. I was very satisfied after staying here.
However I wouldnt recommend to stay very long here (we stayed two nights), its really something for a short stay, since there are almost no amentities at all. Which is fine if you are in museums all day long. You will get breakfast here but you have to manage your own supper, but that wont be a problem in the center of Caen. Only two little disadventages: - not very much parking room for your car, since its really in the center of Caen. Theres a parking place at 500m walking but its only free parking in the evening. - Long travel time to Utah Beach, average travel time to Omaha Beach. |
