Think neon blue walls clash in style with a stylish railway station backdrop Sep 20, 2013
If there's one thing Europe always surprises you, it's how effortlessly the new, modern and bold gels with the old and quaint. And this hotel is no such exception.

For about 2 nights, this hotel was our "home", and we couldn't have found a better one. Quite expensive, but worth the quality. Check-in is quite prompt, the staff speaks very good English and the reception is open 24 hours.

But the bedrooms are a delight - lots of storage under the beds, the cots roll out like drawers and there are bright blue lights everywhere, with very interesting plug points (sort of like wires that can be twisted and brought to the desired position.

The bathrooms were weird, in that the 'walls' were made of semi transparent glass. It's ok if you're on your own or with your significant other, just be careful when sharing the room with a relative or your parents, LOL! Shower when they step out for breakfast, LOL!

Overall, the hotel was in really good condition. They've done the slightest changes to give it an interesting feel and cover up how "small" the overall area really is. For example, the corridors are lined with mirrors giving you the illusion that they (corridors) go on forever. Whilst in reality, they don't!

Breakfast is on the terrace with both bar style seats overlooking the city skyline as well as regular style. The walls are vibrant and the mood is good. Breakfast is a bit sh*t and they're quite parsimonious compared to other hotels I stayed in, but nothing too shabby.

I would recommend this hotel - expensive but you get what you pay for - it's quiet, amazing Wi-Fi internet speed and comfortable beds with hot water showers. Anything more?!
