Cheap place in China Town Dec 15, 2012
The hotel located right in the middle of Chinatown market. I took taxi from the airport and the driver couldn’t find the location of the hotel and at that time I arrived almost midnight in Kuala Lumpur, so the street around the hotel were buzzing with market and the road was closed and no car allow to pass by. After I showed the map, and the big hotel nearby, finally the taxi driver able to find the hotel location and he stops outside the “Petaling Street” sign and then he carried my heavy luggage across the market through small gap in between the shops. I almost lost him as so many shops and people around the market. Finally we arrive in the hotel lobby and the check in was smooth and my booking was ready.

The lobby is spacious and fully air condition with friendly and informative receptionist. There is also free map and tour information around Kuala Lumpur and nearby areas provided. There are several computers for hotel guest to use (not sure if this is pay or free), as wife is free in the room. The room itself is compact, with twin bed - plenty of space for two people, and comfortable mattress, dresser, wardrobe and space to put luggage at, air condition, television with many channel to choice for, HBO movie, CCN, and other channel , en-suite bathroom with working cold and hot water and good water pressure, but no window inside the room. You can have windows room but pay more than the standard room. The wall is thin and you can hear people talking next door or when they are coming and going out slamming the door. So ear plugs are recommend if you are light sleeper.

The cleaner, clean, change the bed sheet and towel on daily basis and replenish the toiletries. You can do laundry as well for a small fee.

You can meet other traveler in the lobby areas as there is big sofa to seat and also book exchange to borrow if you get bored. The hotels also provide free luggage service if you want to go exploring other cities and left your big bag behind.

The price of the room is RM80 inclusive of tax for single or double bed without breakfast. Breakfast is easy to find outside the hotel. Once you step out from the hotel, there is a food court opposite the hotel (at the right side) selling many different types of food and really cheap open from early morning till late at night.

Location of the hotel is best, right where the action is – plenty of hawkers street food court, Chinese restaurants, mini market, fruits market, and at night times shops selling anything from clothes, shoes, bags, wallets, glasses, etc, you name it and you can get it there and everything is very cheap.

In addition to this, plenty of nice attraction close by and within walking distance, such as Central market, Masjid Jamed, Old Railway Station, Bukit Bintang. And free shuttle bus from Pasar Seni station to and from Bukit Bintang.

Great Location, but not recomanded for people with claustrophobia Jul 05, 2011
I had to stay three days in Kuala Lumpur and I planed to visit as much as possible. So I was just looking for a place to sleep, because I wanted to go there late at night and leave early in the morning. I only cared about the location. Hotel ChinaTown Inn is located near Hotel ChinaTown Inn 2 (very original names). Located at Jalan Petaling in the heart of Chinatown is just 5 minutes walk from the bus station Puduraya and from the Central Market. You can also walk to the Petronas Towers (I did it after I got lost like 10 times, but it's ok haha). The lobby of the hotel was nice and big. There was internet access (not free but very cheap). The guy at the desk was always very helpful with his advices and information. The room was pretty small, but clean and had air conditioning. The room had something particular. It was the first time that I slept in a hotel room that had no windows.

So much expensive but good landscape Jul 15, 2011
In the heart of Chinatown. Walks can be short with a wide range of delicious food. Room size is not large, but it does not fit the narrow bed, clean room, clean but smell cigarettes. Would come from Chinese tourists to stay. And smoke in the room. To make contact with cigarette smell But if I trip and take a bath as a whole stays the price is right.

Touristy, affordable and clean hotel Jul 09, 2010
The hotel is located in the Chinatown area, which is a very crowded area with street vendors. You are very easy to find places to eat or clothes kiosks and other accessories with a very low price.

The hotel is also close enough to the Pasar Seni LRT station and some other attraction spots. You can also reach the Puduraya station 10-15 minutes by foot.

The hotel's location in the second floor building with a fairly well maintained, although with a rather small entrance. The room condition is quite nice and comfortable enough.
